BHAKTISAR ALWAR - ALSO CALLED THIRUMALAISAI ALWAR - INCARNATION OF CHAKRAYUDHA
This alwar from birth itself was very miraculous. He was born at TIRUMALAISAI to Bhargava rishi and Kananagi after unusual 12 months in the womb as a lump of flesh with no arms and no legs. Depressed by this the couple left the flesh in a bamboo bush and went to pilgrimage. Lord Sriyahpathi appeared with Sri Maha Lakshmi before the bush and turned this lump into a beautiful boy with DIVYA TEJAS (brightness). The boy was picked by the tribes (harijan) who were overwhelmed by this golden statue type boy. Again the boy would not drink/eat, causing worry to every one, but however grows normally. Later, after few years, a devotee old couple offered this boy milk saying – “Thirumalaisai, you came to us by divine grace of SRIMANNARAYANA, please take milk and remove our worry”. The boy drank the milk and asked the old couple to take residue milk. The old couple gained youth after taking the prasadam. The old YOUNG couple gave birth to a child Kanikannan, who later became a disciple of the ALWAR

TIRUMALAISAI ALWAR is highly learned. He studied and learned other religions like Buddhism, Jainism, Advaita and became a devotee of Lord Siva. PE ALWAR argued with him and convinced him SRIMANNARAYANA is supreme and initiated him to VAISHNA BHAKTHI. Bhaktisar Alwar later declared and confessed - After my futile efforts to know SUPREME by going through all contemporary philosophies, I am blessed by SRIMANNARAYANA to take refuge in Lord's feet of SRIDEVI and escaped every problem.
Bhakthisar, Kanikannan visited TIRUVENKA, Bhoodat Alwar's birth place, and stayed there impressed by the beauty of the Lord VISHNU. There was an old lady serving the Alwar and was lamenting that she was not young, so that she could serve them for longer duration. Thirumaisai Alwar could sense this and by miracle turned this lady to young and beautiful. The King happened to see her and married her. Soon the king noticed his queen was not ageing and ever youthful. He realized this is due to miracle of ALWAR and summoned the alwar to court. Kanikannan refuged to oblige the king and the king ordered him to leave the kingdom. Kannikannan prepared to leave the kingdom and ALWAR also decided to leave along with him. The ALWAR said to LORD "KANCHI MANIVANNA - Kanikannan is leaving, I am also going. You do not have to lie here with your serpent NAGAM. Come with us." LORD FOLLWED THEM. Next day the king realized God has left along with them and (as a result of that) the desert look of his entire kingdom. He rushed to the trio and begged pardon. The Alwar forgived the king and asked the Lord to stay back at KANCHI and bless the kingdom.
